The picture above was taken on July 16, 1945 after the testing of the first atomic bomb in Alamogordo, New Mexico. This test was named "Trinity".
"Enola Gay" was the plane that dropped the atomic bomb on Hiroshima, Japan.
These are the two atomic bombs, Little Boy and Fat Man. Little Boy was dropped on Hiroshima, Japan and Fat Guy was dropped on Nagasaki.

This photo was taken at the Potsdam Conference on July 17, 1945. At this conference President Truman asked the Japanese Empire for a surrendering. The Japanese refused this surrendering and ignored our warning.
